I don't like goodbyes-never had, never will. So I say what my momma always says-"It's not goodbye but see you soon."
Lots of friends have recently moved so we've had several dinners. Last night it was my turn -WEIRD. We have talked about this move for almost 2 years. So now that the time has finally come, it doesn't feel real. I have such mixed feelings about leaving. Starting over is hard. Change is hard. Going out of your comfort zone is hard BUT I also believe that all these things allow for growth and provides an opportunity for our family to cling to each other.
Boxes are stacking up high, beds are down, tramp is in the box, goodbye parties for the kids are planned, trucks are booked, Uncle Jon's flight is scheduled to fly in next week, and our house is in SHAMBLES!
So to all of my dear friends in AZ-thanks for making me a better person by simply knowing you and allowing me to be apart of your lives. You will always hold a dear part of my heart.

It feels funny to share such personal feelings on a blog, BUT, I hope you know how much your friendship means to me!! I have been blessed to call you one of the best friends I've ever had..and my next door neighbor!!! I am going to miss you, Nate, and your cute kids so much!! Can't wait to visit. I can't even go there...you think with so much notice I would have dealt by now. Nope, not happening.

Just thinking about where we all are, spread out over the country, and I can't believe it. ps, are you guys doing Comfort Dental? We know so many people who have moved to CO lately to join.
So sad! I hope you have a great adventure in Colorado though! I can't wait to see pictures of your new house! A little tip, if you want to run an amazing road race try the Boulder Bolder. It is run on Memorial Day, and it is one of the most popular races in the USA.

We hate to see your sweet family leaving, but hope this is a wonderful adventure for you guys! Maycee and Madie have cute matching bikes now too... it's too bad they couldn't take them out for a little ride together. Hope your move goes smoothly!!!
Katie! Ugggh, all the memories of us moving have totally come back after reading your post! I know everyone there is going to miss you so much! You are totally right though, you will cling to your adorable family and change is hard, but in no-time at all I am sure you will be surrounded by great new friends and family too!
