Utah pics of my family

Here are some more pictures of our trip. A little out of order but had to post the rest of our trip with my fam, our visit with the Gronemans and Jon and Krisitin! For those of you that know my mom-she volunteers every week at the library for story time. The week we were there she dressed up as Mother Goose-she was perfect! She had every little kid glued!

Trip to Utah (w/ Budges)

We decided to take a road trip to Utah for Spring Break! We had so much fun and are so glad we braved the 11 hour drive! I left Monday with the kids and drove to Vegas. The kids did awesome-lots of movies, games and sugar... we were all good! We spend the night at my sisters house and then Tuesday morning we all( she has 5 kids) drove to my parents house in Provo. The kids were so excited to see Gram-Z and Papa and their FUN playroom. Wednesday we hung out and let the kids play. I got four moles removed(hence the pictures of me I have some pretty sweet looking band-aids on my face!). Thursday we went to BYU-bowled, sat on the cougar, had BYU ice cream and went to the bookstore. A highlight for me was getting my hair done by my best friend Aly. I got to see her cute salon where she works and her sweet kids and hubby Nick. We ate at Cafe Rio and then sat in her car like old times and talked for hours!! Oh, how I miss that girl! Friday I drove up to Ogden to visit with Nate's family. The kids loved seeing their Budge cousins. Nate flew in that night to be with us on Easter and to help me make the trek home! It was so good to see Nate's youngest brother Jason and wife Maggee who we haven't seen for over a year. Their little boy Kaper is adorable. Nate's oldest brother Brad and wife Tammy are adopting four kids (now they will have 7!!) so it was good to met them and have my kids meet their little soon- to- be cousins. Saturday we went to the Pleasantview Easter 3gg hunt where our kids froze and kept asking if we could go. They did like all the candy though!Grandpa Budge wanted to take the kids to the fish hatchery. The kids had a great time catching fish. We had to put a limit on the fish cause the boys could of stayed all day catching fish after fish! Grandpa told them they had to take the fish home and cook em' up! That stopped Easton! On our way out of O-town we made a stop at The Pizzeria. We drove down to Provo that night and spent the night with my parents. My mom did an Easter egg hunt with the kids. My brother Brad and wife Heidi were there from California with their 3 kids. Way fun to see them! Easter morning we woke up to find Easter baskets and then literally threw the kids in the car and drove to St. George for a pit stop to see Jon and Kristin (Nate's bro). Cute Kristin hid some more eggs for our kids. I LOVE Easter candy way too much-I think I ate all my kids candy on the way home. We are so glad we went . Our kids saw everyone from both sides of the family, which doesn't happen very often. We love that we don't live too far away from family. There are days we wished we could "tummy tuck " the states too be a little closer but we look forward to seeing everyone again in July.

My attempt at pictures...

So I tried taking pictures before church of the kids in their Easter clothes and this is what we got! Man I would not be a good photographer-one I have no patience for goofing off kids and two, I don't know the "tricks" to lighting and placement as you can see in my attempt for a cute Easter photo. I'm calling my friend Tresure to take pictures today! Better pictures to come!!

Flashback Friday

I have been feeling VERY thankful lately for so many things. I truly feel so blessed to have a happy marriage to an amazing guy, a husband with a good job, a beautiful house, three happy and healthy kids and thankful for my own health. There are alot of people in our ward and area losing houses and jobs, getting divorced and burdened with heavy, heavy trials. It makes my trials seem close to nothing. I am amazed each day at the"Tender Mercies" in my life. The Lord truly knows my needs and my desires.
We just had some friends from dental school (Brad and Tracee Walker) come check out AZ and get a feel for the area. As we were talking about where to live and jobs. I reflected upon our same decision two years ago. Our Senior year in dental school praying so dang hard for direction of where the heck we should move our little family. I remember I was so nervous about making friends and starting all over again. We had such DEAR friends in school and I was so sad to leave them behind.Arizona seems to be the place with both felt good about and everything started falling into place-job,home,etc. Our first morning in AZ we get a knock on our door and it is my sweet neighbor Brigett with warm muffins welcoming us. She walked in with three little kids just our kids ages and we hit it off instantly. I knew my prayers had been answered, a "tender mercy"in my life to be blessed with the greatest neighbors, neighborhood and ward. I have been blessed with such amazing friends in my life who have all enriched my life significantly. So to all my friends-thanks for the good times, good laughs and good memories! This picture is of my last Bunco in Ohio (the whale in the picture is me 9 months pregnant)
