Fathers and Sons-Campout

Grandpa cooking up some food

Kimball, Easton, Connon and Uncle Jon ready to dig into the grub

Grandpa and Cannon chillin in the camper!

Nate is such a stud! He fly to Utah to be with his family for the Fathers and Sons Campout. He brought Easton and Cannon-both of them!! For four days the boys were gone and Maycee and I played. We went out to lunch, swam, got a pedicure and shopped. I wasn't sure how Cannon was going to do camping-but he slept all night, right next to Nate in Grandpa Budge's SWEET camper! They all had a ball. Easton had a blast playing with his cousins. Nate you are one AMAZING dad and husband. Nothing stops you and I love you

The Grand Canyon

We took a weekend trip to the Grand Canyon. We had so much fun. We left Sunday morning and got home got Monday afternoon-short but definetly worth the drive. On the way up we drove through Sedona-GORGEOUS!! Cute little resort town with the "Pink Jeep" tours. Maycee liked the Pink cars-she was begging us to go on one. The Grand Canyon is amazing. It was Nate's first time there-he was really impressed. Easton found a caterpillar while we were there. He named him MAX. Max the Caterpillar was very loved. Maycee would push him in her stroller and put blankets over him. Easton carried his bug box EVERYWHERE we went. We thought we lost Max while at the mall but we found him at Gap-Whew!! The day Max died was a very sad day. Our little neighbor across the street didn't believe me when I told her Max had died and we threw him in the garbage. She started digging through the trash looking for our beloved MAX the Caterpillar. We will never forget our friend MAx and our trip to the Grand Canyon.

Miss Maycee

Maycee-you are so funny! You are constantly making us all giggle. Your spunk keeps us all on our toes. You LOVE makeup, especially lipstick(thanks to Aunt Kristin) and doing hair. We love to watch you dance and sing around the house. You know all the words to every Hannah Montana song. You also like "Wake Up" by Hillary Duff. You would think you are 12 not 3. Everyday you pretend you are a mommy and stuff your shirt so you have"boobies" or a
"baby".

I love being your mom Maycee. Life would not quite be the same in our house without our fun and full of life Maycee Ann.

T-baller Easton

Easton just finished up playing t-ball. His team name was the "Rockhounds". He played with all his buddies in the ward and in play group. He really liked playing and we loved watching him. Go Easton!!

Family Pictures

The first time I tried attaching the family pics they didn't attach. So I am trying this again

Visitors

We have absolutely LOVED having so many people come see us. In Ohio it was very rare to get company. So its a big deal to us to have family and friends come visit. I love not feeling so far away from everyone. Utah is only a days drive and Vegas to see Shauna is only six hours. I know because I've driven it six times this year!! When Jon and Kristin came we went shopping and went to a Diamondbacks game. We spent Easter with Brad and Tammy and their cute kids. We welcome anyone and everyone-so come visit sunny Arizona!

Ice Cream Truck

Every Friday afternoon this cute little Mexican lady drives the ice cream truck around the neighborhood. The kids can hear it no matter what they are doing. There's no better way to spend a hot day with neigbbors and a popsicle!

Disneyland

Oh, what fun Disneyland is!! We went the first week of April with our good friends Brandon and Emily Horrocks and their three kids. We woke up early every morning and stayed all day. We didn't want to miss one beat! Brian came and met up with us for a day. It was so great to see him, the kids love Uncle Brian. Easton's favorite ride was Pirates of the Carribean and Indiana Jones. Maycee liked the Matterhorn and being kissed by Cinderella. Cute Cannon was content just sitting on our laps during the rides. We are already planning our next trip back. We had SO much fun!!!

Easton's Birthday

Easton LOVES Pirates and the movie Pirates of the Carribean so for his 5th Birthday he wanted a "Pirate Party." We had the kids ware pirate gear, dig for gold, find the treasure, whack the treasure pinata and eat a treasure chest cake! The kids had alot of fun. I can't believe my baby is five! We love you Easton

Spring Memories

It's hard to believe Nate and I (8 1/2 months prego) flew to Arizona a year ago to buy our house. Now a whole year later, our baby is almost one and Nate is a pro at dentistry! I think Arizona is starting to really grow on us. It's become our home as we have made friends and gotten more acqainted with the area. I actually think we are starting to like the Cactus!! Some of the highlights this Spring were going to Disneyland, having LOTS of visitors including: Gram-Z(who surprized me for my birthday!), The Earls, The Horrocks, Brad and Tammy, Jon and Kristin and the Thordersons, visiting the Grand Canyon and going to Las Vegas for Breanne's baptism. We love to be on the go traveling and visiting people. We figured this is our last "free" year before Easton starts kindergarten and its harder to take time off. We are lucky to have GREAT kids who are great travelers!!
