Maycee has become quite the little dancer. She stays busy dancing three days a week but she loves it. She is on the mini-team with some super cute girls. They've all become really good friends. Maycee being one of the youngest girls on the team really looks up to the older ones. She is looking forward to performing her solo at dance competitions coming up. Go Mayc
We can hardly wait around here-only 11 more days till Santa comes. We have our Christmas jammies from Gram-Z, presents under our tree, school parties this week, gingerbread house making tonight, and Christmas cards arriving daily (my favorite part!!)
We had SOOO much fun going to the North Pole on the Polar Express. The kids had no idea until that morning. They thought they were going to school until we read the Polar Express and gave them Jammie's to wear on the train. Oh, the EXCITEMENT!!! They could hardly stand it. They wanted to get in the car right then and there. We drove up through Sedona to see the fall leaves and stopped at the Grand Canyon before. We met the Goates at the train station before boarding. There's no one we would of rather gone with then them. We sure love them GOATES!
We took the kids to the Polar Express in Utah when Easton and Maycee were just tiny, so this time they were older and understood what was going on. It was so magical. Every part about it. The hot coco, and warm cookies made by Mrs. Claus. To the caroling and the North Pole. To Santa's visit on the train. To receiving a bell from Santa himself. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Christmas. So glad we made the 3 hour trek up north even though we had school and work the next day. It was worth every penny and every tired kiddo!
We took Grandma Linda to the GRAND CANYON for her first time ever. It was fun to be with her. She was pretty impressed with the size and beauty. Nate and I needed a leash for Cannon Boy for peace of mind. It is SO scary standing there on the edge with little kids and with a child like Cannon who would just climb right over the little fence to find a rock or go exploring. Oh, that kid has NO Fear. No one fell off the edge thank goodness.
We had a little Thanksgiving this year with just our family and Grandma Linda. We enjoyed having her stay with us for 2 weeks. She is such a ball to be around. She has the GREATEST laugh and we are glad she came for some sunshine.
Nate and the boys enjoyed playing some football in the morning. After we ate our yummy meal we had some visitors stop by to eat our leftovers ( Love you Bri!) . We enjoyed pie with the Martineaus later that night.
