Merry Christmas!!!

North Pole

We took the Polar Express to the North Pole to see Santa. It has become a fun tradition we do every year with the Goates. We have already made plans for next year to fly back from Colorado so we can keep the tradition alive.Highlights from our trip...

1. Sipping on hot chocolate and cookies while watching our little 80 year old "server" get her groove on to Christmas carols!!
2. Spending the night at the local HOJO after the train ride. Maycee keep asking why it was called that. We told her it was where the Hobo's sometimes stay! She was not amused

3. Seeing Santa, recieving bells, hanging in Pj's and making memories! Thanks Goateees

I'm gonna rant and rave (again!) how much I LOVE my kids pre-school teacher Mrs. Jodi. She takes the kids every year to a little play. This year it was Alladin. It was adorable-the Genie was a riot! Mrs. Jodi passed out presents for each kid-Jasmine dolls for the girls and "Cars 2" cars for the boys-she is SO thoughtful. The kids were in heaven with their new toys. Cannon was so cute on our date. He was so excited to have me all to himself. What a great little date with one of my favorite guys.

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas

Thanksgiving

We had such a good time with Nate's mom and sister for Thanksgiving. We packed alot in with our 4 short days together. Thursday we started the day off right with our annual Turkey Bowl while the mommies slaved away in the kitchen! The kids had so much fun being together. They hadn't been together since the summer-so they were in hog heaven! Thanksgiving dinner was DELISH- I ate way too much but it was yummers. We took the kids to see Tangled later that day. The cutest movie-we all loved it. Friday we went to a petting zoo close to our house that has a ZONKEY! It looks just like you would think, a cross between a donkey and a zebra... pretty funny! Saturday we went fishing-the place Grandpa Thom took our kids when he'd come down to visit. Every kid caught a fish making everyone HAPPY. We had perfect weather the whole weekend which meant lots of bike riding around the circle. Oh we hope this becomes a new tradition with Budges coming for Thanksgiving cause it's a good one! We truly have so much to be grateful for this year. I'm especially grateful for 4 precious children -they are the smiles on my face each day. I love them and their Daddy Nate SOO much. Weekend festivities

The royal princess celebrated her birthday all weekend. Saturday waking up to her siblings (plus our third daughter Hallee G.) singing to her in her crib, to getting a new baby from our sweet neighbors the Martineaus. Sunday's celebration with the Goates included pizza and cupcakes. Brinklee and Hannanh just happened to have matching outfits on! Monday we finished the weekend hoopla with her birthday party. She invited some of her closest friends-Holly, Travis, LoLo, Hannah, and Gracie. Her favorite gift of all was her new stroller for her babies. She packs that thing full of treasures and if anyone gets anywhere close to it-she'll let you know, its, " My strauler!"

T-W-O

I wish I could freeze her. She is SO much fun. Our lives have been even brighter the past 2 years with this little one around. She has the biggest vocabulary and is quite the parrot, repeating anything the kids ask her to say. She is a CRACK up. Making us laugh every single day. Easton asked her this morning who her boyfriend was and she said, " I donna know?! A Travy?!" (next door neighbor). She is such a people person. In the shopping cart she just waves and says Hi to everyone. She loves nursery and play groups. She loves to be on the go like her momma. When we pull into our neigborhood she says, "A no go home. A go tat way!" Target is her favorite store! Oh she is yummy. She still gets mauled all day with hugs and kisses from everyone.

Halloween

Here's a run down of "The night"-

*Annual neighbor dinner in the circle. The kids enjoyed mac n' cheese/chicken nuggets and the adults chili
*CRAZInesS-sword fights, candy, EXCitmenT!, you name it.. the kids were all on a major SugaR HigH!
*Cannon decided to change clothes-he no longer wanted to be in his costume. Little stink-but with a little daddy magic he was back in costume in no time
*I felt like dirt with a kidney infection/stones but put on my best smile for Halloween!
*Walked a few streets with friends to get MORE candy
*Brinklee and LoLo got the royal treatment-wagon ride right up to each house. Oh, they were in heaven!
*By the end Brinklee wanted to walk and go to each house " By Mysef"! Miss Independence
*Our candy bowl that we left out for trick-or-treaters was stolen-dang teenagers
*Easton's costume in case you are wondering is Percy Jackson. He is obessed with greek mythology and Gods and that fun 3rd grade stuff. He picked out the exact shoes, jeans, hair dye,hair brushed over a certain way, etc. so he could look just like Percy! Him and his best friend Mason planned it all out-twinners. Those two are serious soulmates.Anyways........
