No more Binky

We woke up this morning and decided it was time to cut the binkies. Cannon cut them all by himself and then threw them in the garbage-YEAH Cannon. Naptime and bedtime have been a little rough with out his beloved bink. We keep telling ourselves-to give it a couple days. He has always been such a great sleeper. He learned to climb out of his crib last week. Yesterday during nap I found him past out on his floor. Poor guy-its hard work growing up! My baby is officially growing up-no more bink and no more staying in his crib!

We did it.. I did it!!

Well we did it. We went camping! And I will admit we had a GREAT time. Our kids are already planning our next trip.Nate came home, got his fishing licences, bought more camping gear and wants to go back this weekend! I told him we need to buy a camper! Let me start at thebeginning- Saturday driving home from Costco Nate said, "Let's go camping!" I just laughed not thinking he was serious. Easton and Maycee were so excited and back their bags in a matter of seconds. We drove up to Globe, which is an hour away. Nate wanted to take us where they had fathers and Sons. On the way up we saw a rainbow and it was sprinkling. We started praying really hard it wouldn' t rain on us! The camp ground was pretty crowded so we decided to keep driving to the next site. We are so glad we did cause it was BEAUTIFUL and on top of the mountain over looking the whole valley. We started setting up camp and the clouds came in as the sun was setting-we snapped a fast shot. It was so cool. We roasted hot dogs and ate some grub. The kids had fun exploring and collecting sticks for the fire. It started raining as we were roasting marshmellows. Into the tent we went and watched Toy Story2. It rained all night, it was cold, we ALL ended up on our queen size air-mattress snuggled together, someone was playing music till I don't know what time and I kept thinking someone was outside our tent all night. So our night was a little crazy with little sleep but good memories. I told my parents we went camping and they were so proud of me! I'm pretty proud of myself as well. Next time I will bring my own air mattress though!

You know you are pregnant when....

1. You can't remember your own addresss
2. You wear different (large) earrings the whole day and it takes you to realize your mistake when your 4 year old says to you at dinner , "Why are you wearing different earrings mom?"
3. You go to buy gas and can't remember what side the gas tank is on
4. A lady asks you, "What happened to your ankle, did you sprain it?" Not realizing I have lovely varicous veins which are turning my ankles purple!
5. Misplace things on a daily occurence
6. Have absolutely nothing to wear that fits my growing belly!

Happy 4th

Picture overload-sorry but when we go to Utah and see both sides of family we have LOTS of pictures!! We had a great time celebrating the 4th in Provo. I must say, Utah knows how to celebrate the 4th of July. We went to the parade(along with the other 300,000 people!)had a yummy BBQ,had our own firework show thanks to the pyros, and then watched the fireworks by the temple. We loved going up the canyon, playing at papa's park, 7 peaks, BYU bowling, talent shows performed by cousins and being together! We headed up to Lava Hot Springs, Idaho with Nates family to our sister-in-laws family cabin. LOVE that place-four wheelers, fishing, swimming, roasting s'mores, shooting bb guns and getting dirty. The kids could not get enough. It's great cause you are in the mountains and doing all the "camping" things but you are staying in this gorgeous cabin with air-conditioning, showers and a flushing toliet! YEAH! We hope everyone had a wonderful 4th with family and friends. We are so blessed to live in a free country. Happy Birthday America!
