We woke up this morning and decided it was time to cut the binkies. Cannon cut them all by himself and then threw them in the garbage-YEAH Cannon. Naptime and bedtime have been a little rough with out his beloved bink. We keep telling ourselves-to give it a couple days. He has always been such a great sleeper. He learned to climb out of his crib last week. Yesterday during nap I found him past out on his floor. Poor guy-its hard work growing up! My baby is officially growing up-no more bink and no more staying in his crib!

good for you guys! That can be such a hard thing to say good-bye to. I think it was actually harder on me to see how sad Cael was without his bink, than it was for him to throw them away...I can't believe Cannon isn't a baby anymore! He's so cute.

HOW DID YOU DO THIS. Avery is 16 months and I know this day is coming soon. You will have to update us later. YIKES I am so afraid. But I have been with all of my kids.
Way to go- don't ever give back in. THe first time after we took Gracie's binky away we gave it back after 2 weeks- we were so weak, but then we forgot to take it with us on vacation when she was 2 and she wouldn't take the only kind we could find at the little market by our hotel so that was the end of the binky for us!!

Nice! good luck with getting used to no binkies, hopefully it'll go quick. How are you feeling? I'm so proud of you for going camping, even prego! I'm not much of a camper and being preg, wow, you are my hero.
SOME day! I can not wait until that day comes with Cru, that darn kids love his bink to death. We don't let him have it out of bed (mostly) and he steals Macey's ALL the time. What to do?
Beckett is the first of ours to even take a bink. I have LOVED it so much, that I am not even thinking about the fact that I will one day have to take it away! :) Good luck. He looks SO cute!
