Trip Part 2-beach and rehersal dinner

Nicole getting "doggie piled" on by 12 grandkids! We are all in LOVE with our new family member-Nicole
Meeting Brinklee for the first time-I think it was love at first sight!

Typical Uncle Brian-human jungle gym. The kids all love him. He'll be the best dad

Heidi, Andrew, Nicole and Brinklee

Samatha holding Brinklee

The "Baskets!" Filling 55 of them with Swedish fish (Nicoles favorite treat), Water, Bag of Pretzels, and Brians trailmix he lives on.
Our attempt to take family pictures. Dad played photographer with Brians camera..We'll see how they turned out. I am not very hopeful-too sunny, windy, kids wanted to play in the water and not take stinkin pictures! Oh well.

Cannon Ball!
Brinklee's favorite place to be-up high riding on daddy's shoulders! She hold unto his ears!

Easton finding a treasure

Mom, Heidi and I

The sand castle crew. Uncle Brad took his job very seriously helping the kids build quite the fortress

COLD!! My little family went to the beach to take family pictures-that lasted 5 minutes till Cannon dove into the water, hence his underwear!

Off to the dinner-everyone looking so sharp!

Our new cousin-Jordan. Easton and Ashton glued to his side!

Shauna (sister) and Bryce, Brad (brother) and Heidi and US!

Nicole's dad and my mom-this man is a CRACK up and this picture makes me laugh because he had just told my mom something naughty-so she's laughing and his glasses are totally falling off!

Brinks and daddy. Cannon and the other little ones stayed back at the hotel with a babysitter.
It was nice to enjoy our dinner and not have to run off trying to find Cannon every 5 seconds because he's hiding somewhere-he's new favorite thing .....hide and seek!

Lauren and Maycee

The lovebirds!

Easton and Jordan(One of the triplets) Easton didn't leave this guys side the whole weekend

Maycee and her sweet cousin-Breanne

All the girls at the"kids table"- Samatha (one of the triplets) has been officially adopted into our family. She is such a doll

The "Kids table" -a party back in the corner. They were so good-thanks to the triplets who entertained everyone!

We took SO many pictures of our fun filled weekend. Sorry there are so many but this is my journal and my family history-right?!! California is gorgeous. Evertime we go I say to myself,"Why don't we live here?" It is HEAVEN! The beach, the rolling hills, the weather and the green everything. I would move if it weren't so dang expensive. Anyways-it's late and I have been posting pictures for 2 hours and I'm tired.
Quick version-Met Nicoles family Friday night and hung out at Brian's hotel suite, ate pizza and chilled. Nicole family is so FUN! Her mom was SO cute when she first met us. She and DJ (Nicoles brother) had memorized all of our names on the plane from New Jersey. It was amazing cause we aren't a small family-12 grandkids, 4 kids ,4 in-laws and my parents! She had us line up in families and then went down the list and named us ALL!! AMAZING!! It was so fun to meet them and get to know them better. They are wonderful people and so glad we share their daughter now! The Whetten grandkids have new "cousins" the triplets -Samatha, Jordan and Micheal ,who are Nicoles niece and nephews. Everyone adored them and we have offically adopted them into the family. I told their parents they are welcome anytime. They were so good with my kids.
Ate LOTS of yummy food on Saturday our 9th Anniversary! went to the beach-built a sand castle and played in the COLD water. Collected rocks, shells and Cannon's favorite... feathers.

Made baskets for each guest. I VERY carefully transported 55 bags of pretzels and 55 bags of Brians famous trailmix from Arizona that contained chocolate in them. My sister and I had worked hours on them the weekend she came down to visit. We didn't want the chocolate to melt and then ruin the bags that were to go in each basket. So at each hotel room(Diseyland and then Santa Monica) we had to baby the stupid things! But in the end the baskets turned out pretty and hopefully each guest enjoyed their goodies!
Saturday night was the reheral dinner ....Good times, lots of laughs, yummy food-Happy Anniversary Honey!

Trip part 3-Brian and Nicole's Wedding

WOWEEEE! Brian's married and might I add to the most amazing girl we could ever ask for. Nicole is such a perfect match for Brian. We love her and are so excited she's apart of the family. The wedding was gorgeous-right on the beach in Santa Monica. The weather could not of been more perfect and Nicole looked beautiful. The kids loved playing their part-Easton (escort)and Maycee (flower girl)making down the aisle, Cannon loved playing in the sand the whole time (wanted NOTHING to do with walking down the aisle with cousins!)and Brinklee fell asleep in Aunt JoRita's arms. We are all SO happy for Brian and Nicole. Being married to your best friend is the greatest blessing and I'm glad Brian found his bf-Nicole! Congrats you two. Have Fun in Bali
