SO much FUN girls!!

I have tried to post this post several times over the last 2 days and for some reason it won't post or save. So for the 4th time I'm giving this a try and its the speedy version.

11 girls from my ward went to LA/San Diego for a long weekend a few weekends ago. Let's just say we had a BLAST and all want to go back tomorrow. Our good husbands watched our kiddos so we could have a little R&R. Thanks Nate.

We left Thursday night and stay in a hotel by the Fashion District. We woke up Friday morning and shopped all day. Found some great deals-shoes, beads, purses, jeans, shorts and fabric. The funniest story of the day was that all 4 0f us in our car-Hillary, I, Bridget Carroll and Katie Brown got matching purses. As we were walking back to our cars we spotted Jen's adorable yellow purse. Hillary REALLY wanted one and so did I. So Katie dropped us off on the corner to run in as they circled the block. We jumped back in the car and Katie Brown LOVED our white version of the yellow purse. So Hillary jumped back out to get one for Katie and as she was running into the store Bridget yelled, "Get me one too.!!! So all 4 of us have matching super cute white purses !!

Then we drove to San Diego to Jen's parents home. I should say RESORT-their home is so beautiful. We enjoyed a yummy BBQ and pazookies, sat around the fire (us AZ girls are always freezing if its not 100) soaked in the hot tub, and talked and talked.!!

Saturday we went down to Mission Bay. We rented bikes and rode up and down the coast, layed out and relaxed. That night we all got ready and ate more yummy food at BJ's. Talked and talked some more, and laughed, laughed till our bellies hurt!

Sunday we went to Coronado Island to the Hotel Del to eat lunch.

Can you see the pattern here-lots of eating!! The hotel is gorgeous. I want to bring my family back or maybe just my honey. Then off to AZ we headed. I feel really lucky to have such great friends. Thanks girls for an awesome weekend. When are we going back?!

Cannon Boy

Wow-I can't believe Cannon Boy is 3 years old today! Happy Birthday Buddy. Our lives would be rather dull without you. You are a CANNON ball-full of energy and spunk. Some of your favorites include:

1.Favorite Treat: Candy and more candy. The only thing you wanted for your birthday was "Lappy Tappy's!"

2.Favorite Food: Chicken Nuggets and Mac n' Cheese

3. Favorite Cereal: Captain Crunch (will only eat the marshmellows)

4. Favorite Person: Grandpa and Papa (Tractor Rides with both of them!)

5. Favorite thing to do everyday: Wrestle with Daddy

6. Favorite Activity: Throwing, catching or hitting any size ball or not a ball-he still throws EVERYTHING!

7. Favorite Day of the week: Tuesday (playing with friends at playgroup)

8. Favorite Movie: Ice Age

9. Favorite Phrase to say: "I'm mad at you."

10.Favorite Birthday Present: Bug Vaccuum

Oh, Cannon I love you. You came into our family at the craziest time ever. Right when we were moving from Ohio to AZ . You were 4 days old when we packed up and headed west. You have always had the most contagious smile and have brought such a happiness into our family. Thank you for being our "happy maker". We love you and hope you have a great birthday.

We had so much fun over Memorial Day weekend at Arizona Grand Resort. We went last year and had such a blast with the Goates that we decided we should do it every year. This year the Weirs joined us as well. 6 adults +13 kids (10 and under)= CRaZy FUn!!!!
