Aunt Maryann's famous pillow cases she makes for all the kids.

Playing with stud muffin cousin Matt N. The kids couldn't get enough of him. I could get enough of his CRAZY army (green bureau) stories!

After Odgen we headed to Midway for the Whetten Reunion. A Reunion we have every 4 years at the Homestead Resort. What a party! All the Whetten cousins together all weekend-Playing games, watching fireworks, talent shows, reminiscing, eating YUMMY food(all catered by the Homestead!) I look forward to this get together even though its every couple years, it is a highlight. Thanks to my Grandpa and Grandma Whetten who left their inheritance for reunions.

After Midway we headed to P-town. Papa had a surprize waiting for us-a new RAZOR!!! Boy howdy-those things are FUN!. The kids (and the adults) loved taking rides up and down the hills. We loved the cooler weather, the mountains and spending time with family.

How we get down-Ogden Style

Sending Grandpa hugs. We love you Grandpa.

This picture makes me want to cry-Nate planting his dad's beloved garden. Thom should be in this picture. Nate wanted to do it for his dad-even though its not as perfect as he would of done it!

We spent 2 weeks up north for the 4th. We packed alot in. We first went to Ogden for a few days. We celebrated Jon's 30th b-day, went to the pool a few times where Cannon loved the diving board and decided the first time ever going off to do a flip! He is gonna give me a heart attack. The cousins loved being together-especially dancing to Justin Beiber.Nate planted his dad's garden and helped his mom de-junk! We celebrated the 4th with fireworks, and of course lots of swing rides!

PDC

Maycee and some of her teammates at the award ceremony.

She did it! Maycee finished her first year of competitive dance! This girls lives and breathes dance. I had a friend ask me if she gets burned out with all the hours she goes. No way! She comes home after dance and plays dance! She has made alot of improvement, made some adorable friends along the way and now having a BLAST at the two week intensive/tryouts for next year. It never ends! I was so proud of her at her last competition back in May. After her solo I ran backstage to give her a hug and I lost it. I started bawling cause I was SO proud of her. She had grown leaps and bounds with confidence. The first time way back in January she almost didn't go on the stage cause she was so nervous. As a little child I was the same way. I would cry to give primary talks. As a mother it makes you want to bust your buttons when your child overcomes a fear and when you see their smile of pure joy on their sweet faces. I am proud of you Maycee and I think you are the cutest little dancer ever!
