Thirty One

No better way to celebrate a birthday then with family! Woke up to MANY people singing with breakfast in bed! My mom made a yummy cake with my FAVORITE ice cream Cookie Dough. My gift from Nate was a night away at our honey moon suite in SLC!! So fun! I felted so loved-thanks everyone for the B-day wishes

Easton's baptism

What an AWESOME day! I'm so proud of Easton and Connor. I saw the church building and starting crying. Nate looked at me and I could read his mind. "Not the ugly cry!" I was pretty good about not getting too out of control but it was definetly an emotional day. How do you not get teary when you see your baby getting baptized by his daddy. Grandpa Thom was proud of his 2 grandsons. We all knew he was there. The highlight of the day for me besides the baptism was seeing my SWEET friend Morgan. It was such a treat to see her, love that girl. She saved the day by watching Brinklee-thanks!

These two cousins...

Are the BEST of friends. They were born 10 hours apart, same hospital, same city! They have done everything together-crawled at the same time, walked within weeks of each other, gotten into lots of trouble together, camped with Grandpa together, fished together, and now getting baptized together. This will be a TENDER day for everyone knowing Grandpa isn't there. The day Thom died the first thing Easton said through all his tears,"Grandpa won't be at my baptism." Nate and I assured him then and are still assuring him now, that he WILL be there in spirit. Just thinking about the day makes me bawl. I am going to be a mess. EVERY baptism I go to-if I know the person or not,I cry. Now my own son AND nephew-bring on the tissues! I am SO proud of these two for making this decision, Oh, how I love you Easton and Connor.

March happenings

*Brinklee has been walking for about 2 months. She finally got over her "ape" crawl and took her first steps at 14 months. My latest by far but she is loving the new found freedom. She is a "tip-toe" walker. She walks way up high on those tippys and everyone thinks the funniest thing. What I hear daily," She walks on her toes. She will have great calves." Someone also told me their nephew had to have special shoes-I sure hope not. There are too many cute shoes out there.
*4 little Rugrats that I love! Even when they look like this!
*Easton's 8 and very excited to finally have his own set of scriptures
*Basketball has come and gone- now onto flag football

Happy 8th Easton

Man its hard to believe 8 years ago I was handed over the sweetest baby boy.I was in awe- He was PERFECT! I just held him and thought,"He's all mine!" Easton has a been such a good kid except for the first 2 months of colic!

8 things about Easton I don't ever want to forget:

1. He is the only one who sleeps in
2. He loves to tease(especilly his sister)
3. Has lost 11 teeth and is growing up way to fast
4. Thinks jokes are the greatest things-loves telling them to whoever will listen
5. Loves Pizza and coke(just like his dad)
6. He hates showering and getting his haircut
7. Has read the scriptures 4 times by himself
8. Has the most loving heart and LOVES babies

Easton I hope you have a GREAT day. We love you so much and are so thankful you joined our family 8 years ago today.
