Merry Christmas to myself

Nate has continued to ask me what I want for Christmas. I already got my Christmas present, an early one -exactly six weeks ago. The sweetest baby girl named Brinklee. She is the perfect present and I couldn't ask for anything better. So, thanks Nate for the GREATEST present ever and you don't have to get me anything else for Christmas (except a trip away with you, a shopping spree, granite countertops, new flooring-I'm just kidding!)

Polar Ice

For Maycee's preschool Christmas party her teacher took them to Polar Ice. An idoor ice skating arena here in town. They had so much fun ice skating for the first time. It was quite comical helping two kids on ice while trying to balance on the ice myself. The snow was a hit as well-snowballs and snow angels galore! They are counting down the days till their cousins come so that they can go hit the ice again.

One month already?

I am in LOVE with this sweet baby. I kiss and smell her all day long. Now if I could just figure out how to freeze her. I want her to stay this little forever.

It's beginning to look alot like X-mas

We love Christmas jammies. Thanks to my mom who gives all the grand-kids the same pj's every year. It's become one of our favorite Christmas traditions. Can't believe Christmas is only 17 days away!!

Thanksgiving 2008: I am thankful for...

For the sweetest 2 year old who loves to give his "Baby Binklee" hugs all day!
For our simple Thanksgiving this year-just mom and dad and our family of 4 (I'm still in shock I have that many kids!)
For the most amazing mom who helped me survive my first two weeks as a mother of four kids. I couldn't have done it without her. She truly is WONDER WOMAN
For fun toys to ride on
For a husband who works so hard and never complains when he is given a "list" of projects! And for Easton who loves to be next to his dad helping!
For our little "Turkey Bowl" -thanksgiving morning
For a dad who is so gentle and kind-always looking out for others. Helping Maycee ride her bike
For the gift to multi-task:nursing while doing puzzles
For outings with my family like this to see Madagascar 2 (funniest movie!)

Go Maycee!

Maycee learned to ride a 2-wheeler this week. She learned on our neighbors little tiny bike-she is so proud of herself. She waited all day to show Nate. She got on her pj's and waited till he got home and off she went riding around the circle. . I'll take some more pictures of her actually riding. All the pics I took the other night didn't turn out because it was too dark.Way to go Maycee!!!

More Baby Girl!

Meeting Gram-Z for the first time, #12 grand child
Mommy's little doll that I get to dress up everyday!
Big Brother Cannon. He keeps saying, "She's OUR baby!"
The neighborhood doll! Everyone wants to come over to hold her!

I am so in LOVE this baby. I just can't get enough of her. Even though she is up all night I am savoring every minute because I know she will be big too soon. My mom got here yesterday-I just cried and cried when I saw her. I was so happy to have her here. There is no one better to have help you after having a baby then your own mom. Thanks for coming mom or aka GRAM-Z!

Brinklee Kate

:
She's here-YEAH!!! She came Thursday November 13th @ 8:39 am weighing in at 7 lbs 4 0z. 20 inches long. She is beautiful and we fell in love instantly. I was up all night with contractions and decided to wake up Nate at 3:00 am. I called Bri to come over and we got to the hospital about 4:00. I walked in to see my sweet neighbor and friend Michelle who was my labor and delivery nurse-she was awesome! I got my IV and epidural-I hate needles so I always feel so much better once those two things are checked off the list! At 7:30 they gave me pitocin to up the contractions and by 8:00 I was ready to push. She was posterior like my last two babies so I ended up pushing longer but she turned and out she came-perfect as can be. I've been at the hospital till today, back to reality now. The kids, especially Maycee can not get enough of her. We have to set the timer to take turns holding her or otherwise we have three crying kids fighting over whose turn it is and her/his turn was longer!Oh my my- FOUR MONKYS is the right license plate for me right now! We are so glad(I am SOO glad to not be pregnant anymore!) she is here safe and sound and that she is all ours. We love you Brinklee Kate xoxoxo

Quick Update

I went in today and I'm 90% effaced & dilated to a 4.
Just got off the trampoline.
Desperate to have a baby.
Hopefully sooner rather than later.
