"You look like CRAP!"

I never in a million years would think that someone would tell me to my face I look like crap. YES -it happen today while checking out at Wal-mart. This sweet looking 70 year old woman asked if I was having a girl. I beamed and said yes. She told me she could just tell and then proceeded to say,"You aren't going to like this but.... you look like crap.Your face is sunken in, you are not beaming like you would be if you were carrying a boy and you look really worn out. Girls just take alot out of you-I know cause I have girls." I could not believe my ears, so in shock I just nodded and smiled back. I did manage to tell her I did not an ounce of makeup on(I don't know why, maybe just to make myself feel better.) Then grabbed my bags, told her thank you and walked out. I've been told lots of things when pregnant but never that I flat out "Look like Crap!" What a way to make you feel SO good about your growing belly!!

8 years later!

It's hard to believe its been 8 years since our wedding day. It was one of BEST days of my life marrying my best friend in the Salt Lake Temple. Nate makes me so happy and I feel like the luckiest girl to be married to him. We are headed out the door to Scottsdale for a little anniversary get-a-way that's why I am making this so short. I've always wanted a personalized licenses plate. So for Mothers Day Nate gave in. 4 MONKYZ is my new plate. I know we don't have 4 yet but we will soon. I Love it. Thanks Nate!

I need everyone's opinions on how to spell our baby's name. It's either Brinkley(like Christie Brinkley) which is the way that I think everyone knows and will spell right or Brinklee with a double e like Maycee. I really like either way so cast your votes to help the very indecisive Katie Lady.

6 Month Bump

I've had lots of people request this picture-so here you go! Maycee was the photographer explaining why my head is cut off. Feeling pretty good, ready for it to cool off, love feeling the baby move, trying to savor every kick, ache and pain because this very well could be my last.

Maycee's first day of school

Maycee started her second her of pre-school today. She is so excited to be back at Mrs. Jodi's. Everyone loves Mrs. Jodi so much that the whole class came back from last year. She goes 4 days a week for 3 hours. Great teacher, great friends, great girl! Have a Fun at school Maycee -Cannon and I are going to miss you.

My 1st grader

Easton started school today-ALL day. He set out his clothes and made his lunch last night. He asked his teacher Mrs Ross on "Meet the teacher night" if his class got to play on the "Big" playground. A very big concern of his! He is one excited boy because his best friend is in his class. I love this kid and can't wait to go pick him up to hear all about his first day of school.
