Sunday Conversations

So on the way to church today Maycee was picking her nose and wise Easton shared a few choice words with her. Here's how the conversation went.....
Easton-"Maycee you better stop picking your nose or its going to turn green like my thumb did."
Maycee-"No, it won't."
Easton- "Yes, it will. Remember my thumb turned green and almost fell off. Your nose is going to turn green and then fall off.
Maycee looking very concerned-" Will I have to get stitches?"
Easton-"You'll have to have surgery and have it put back on.Then you will have a new nose."

Nate and I thought it was so funny. Hey you never know, maybe she'll stop digging for gold!

Other funny story of the day......... We were eating dinner and going around the table telling everyone what we learned at church. Nate was telling the kids what her learned and Easton blurred out "I have to poop!"Nate and I could not stop laughing. When we got a hold of ourselves Nate continued talking and Easton once again pipes in,"Dad I already now this stuff." TOO funny. Kids say the funniest things. I love to sit back and just listen to them talk to each other-seriously hilarious!

It has been a CRAZY day(we were the three ring circus in Sacrament). Even though I didn't get much out of church( and haven't for the last 5 1/2 years) its the principal of just going and teaching our kids that church is important. Maybe one day we will have a peaceful Sunday. But for now I love the CHaOS and CRAZiNEss of Sunday's at the Budge house!

Katie, you are too funny and i love your blog. I laugh at it everyday! Thanks for posting funny things. I love the conversation between Maycee and Easton. I can't wait for that day. I still love the story about Easton's green thumb. It's so classic. I miss you.

Love the story and you just reminded me that I need to post a "booger" story myself! LOL! Your kids are too darn cute Katie, and you are right about the crazy Sundays. We have that too at the Price home as well!

So funny! We all need to take Megan Durham's idea and start family quote books! Totally know what you mean about getting nothing out of church!

Cute stories. Kids say funny things. I'm glad we aren't the only three ring circus during sacrament. That is the story of our Sunday lives as well.

Love the sundays. One day when I was at church with all the kids and Chris was on call. I looked over and Ethan was doing a perfect arch over both benches. I was to far away to get him while holding Matthew and the women in back of us just laughed and rolled her eyes. Sundays aren't ment for us to relax like they used to be. We are now bribing our kids to be good. I am sure that was taught back then.

I am going to have to call you and get the full story about the green thumb. I have three rugrats that are just waiting for their thumbs to turn green on them. I think LUke is about due being 3 1/2- what do ya think?
Dang cute kiddos and sure miss you a ton. Hope to see you sooner than later. Keep in touch.

Kids make me laugh sooo hard! Thanks for sharing-that is hilarious! I wish I could have seen Maycee's face! Brad and I are already entertained by Brooks and he hasn't even got full sentences out yet! Can you imagine the stories I will be telling! I'm glad to hear its not just me that wonders why I go to church sometimes! And its good preparation to know that it will be that way for awhile!!!
