My day so far..

Let's just say our morning was a little rough. Maycee told me I,"Look a little fat." 20 bottles of nail polish fell as I was graping for my hair dryer-shattered everywhere. Red, pink, purple colored carpet now in my master bedroom closet. A grumpy husband cause he had to clean it up-he has now band nail polish and makeup in our house(we've had one too many accidents with four year olds playing "make-up"), Cannon threw a brush at my foot and sent me into tears it hurt SOO bad, playgroup at my house which consist of Cannon hitting, pulling hair and not being nice to all the girls which sends them into tears, and to top it all off "Aunt Flo" came to visit this morning. It's only 10:13 and I am really hoping the rest of the day goes just a little bit better. Wish me Luck

It's Been a Day! said...

Oh my gosh. We have had a week like that this week. I have wanted to curl up in a ball and sleep it all away. I thought today would be different - nope!! Hope your day went better. My aunt flo came as well and brought with her a major bad attitude!! Weekend here we come!

Sounds like you've had a rough morning. I did the exact same thing in my closet with nail polish. In fact, it's been about 3 months and there's still a large splattering of pink polish. Let me know if you find a way to remove it.

Oh bummer! Just remember that everyone has days like those! You are a cute mom, and you are anything but fat! Kids! Halle once told me I had a "big body with a big bumb." Oh, what we must go through as mothers!

Sorry to hear about the morning...and for what it's worth...sounds about like a normal day around here. If you still need to get nail polish out of carpet...try rubbing alcohol. When I was 16, I spilled bright pink all across my floor...in a brand new house. It worked wonders!
So fun to see your cute family and see what you've been up to.

Sorry about your bad day. I'm sure it makes it worse since we stayed up so late last night! Good thing tomorrow is another day.

girl. I thought immediately: wish that was grandma Flo, not aunt Flo. She would have made it laughable for sure!

Sis... I am so sorry. It seems when it rains it pours. Why does everything bad happen in one day. I hoped maybe Palates helped last night. We need to go more often or we just need another girls weekend huh.. :)

Hopefully being two days past that crazy day, all is well. Those days seem pretty common around my house. You are an awesome mom, Katie.
By the way, is that the inside of your house? I love it.

Ouch, Katie! That sounded like quite a rough day. Hope it has been a better weekend for you. Days like that make me feel the need for a girl's night out. Let's go sometime as soon as Lisanne is up and moving around with her baby. :)

You are great, and your hair has gotten so long, I need another pic.

It looks so cute!
on day's like that, I am so happy when it's nap time and then bed time, and then I feel bad for being cranky
Love you lots!

Wish I would have read your post before my day Friday. :) Cooper said I was "only kind of mean". I think we all have them, but when we're "in the moment" it is hard to imagine anything worse...and everyone else's lives always seem to run so much smoother. You are such an amazing mom.

I am wishing I lived by you right now to bring you some of my cinnamon rolls or cookies. I hate days like that. When the world seems to be in force on attacking us. I love ya Katie I think you are the best thing ever. truly!

okay katie...this is Lyndsie Olsen... kindof random i know! your little family is adorable! anyway...i found your blog from paige's back in like october right when you had finished your marathon! and now i'm all signed up and training for the utah valley marathon on april 12th & i'm starting to have knee problems like you said you started having. i can't even run 2 miles without it hurting. my question to you...do you think it's still possible? and do you think that it's bad to just load up on ibuprofen and run on it even though it's hurting? and did your knee give you MORE problems after the marathon? anyway...if you have any advice, that'd be great...
hope you don't mind me asking! :)
